I know of someone that has had 20's on his MK4 for the last 18 months or so.
That car looks stupid as the rest of the car doesnt accomodate the wheels.
Just noticed that the wheel hubs are as big as the brake discs!

Nice wheels, don't suit the car. Far too big for the car and parked in front of a shit shop

Looks stupid with standard bodywork.
17" - 19" are best on Astra 4's in my opinion.

interesting pic that
Not that I am saying it isnt real but I have 20's on my car (3DR hatch) and there is no way you would get them on with just rolling, also you wont have any lock on the front.
Regards that pic, the rear wheel sits under the arch at the top but out side the arch on the rear? It must be standard ride height to get them on and I doubt its very drivable - well certainly not what I would call drivable
I would imagine they are 7J wheels to even get them on without the car sitting on the wheel.
As for 20's on Mk4's if that car is drivable and not just R-tech putting wheels on a car for the sake of the picture) then its the first I have ever seen. I have pics of a mk4 estate and a coupe on 20's, then Jets coupe on 22's thats it. So hardly loads the 3dr has a lot less room on the rear as well, so if its drivable then hats off to them, and I would love to see how they did it - they could of saved me thousands!
20's are more than possible, point is do you want a car that can be driven with them on? I do and I have lowered mine 60mm from standard on 20's
