Some chieftain knocked my passenger wing mirror on the Astra off last night so anyway I went to Burnham Garage Vauxhall this morning to ask how much a new mirror assembly would cost (mine are electric and heated), he quoted me £130 including the cover...

Went across the road to Allparts (motor factors) bought the same item for £36!

These guys seem quite good, I recently bought some HT leads from their branch in Oxford too.

It was indeed! Even came with the wiring loom to attach to the plug in the door as well!

But it works, fits like a glove, and my old colour coded mirror cover fitted on it perfectly too!

Yes I did as it happens, especially as the prices I quoted above for the mirror and cat from Vauxhall are TRADE price too!

sam - they rang me back next day to see if i wanted the part, however my dad answered the phone before i got to it....they told him the quote, he laughed and said something along the lines of 'fuck of you stupid moron'

corsa boy - i dont race beemers or any cars for that matter
