........i bought 10 quid of petrol at 89.9p per litre



whats my mpg on 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120 miles from the 10 quid?

urm are you joking john, a 1litre would use alot less petrol than a 2litre and a 2litre less than a 3litre, if you drive like a mad head razzin it everywhere u will burn more than driving sensibly.

80 = 32
90 = 36

Whats engine or car got to do with it?

engine displacement, weight of car are massive considerations
also city driving will require constant acceleration, hence more fuel. If he rags it then, again, more fuel.

He supplied miles covered and how much fuel was used.
The type of car and the engine are about as usefull as knowing the temperature in outer mongolia in autumn 1957.

Lol do u still not get it.
He gave how many miles and how many litres.
Miles/litres = miles per litre.
Not hard to swap it to gallons.
