It wont be made of glass... Will be some kind of injection moulded plastic... Looks kinda funky, but god knows why they are on that car, who would want to show those brakes off?

wouldn't be much good here because the glass would just get muddy and shitty anyway... the novelty would wear off after a week of mud, rain and horse shit.

I've seen similar at VAG shows with solid metal alloys, but never clear like that! 
Very cool but maybe just for the shows, as said above a bugger to keep clean day-to-day over here.
