Got pains in the top left hand side of my back. Had them for about a month but today they are really bad I had to slow down on the way to work it was hurting that much. Anyone got any suggestions how to get rid of the pain apart from pain killers which i've already taken and not worked

a good massage may do the trick

Phone NHS Direct mate, there great will be able to give you advice on treatment and pain relief etc. Used them a while ago and was very impressed

Feel a little stupid going the doctors and saying i've got back pain.

I'll have a look for a massage place for the weekend. Best not be no fella

could be serious and just get worse in time, defo go 2 doctors
and mabye try one of those people who stick needles in ya

when did the pain start? did you lift something heavy? was it in work? have you been trained in manual handling? £££££

get it checked out, especially with back pains, if you leave it, it will get worse when u get older, and cause no end of problems!
