Car blocked the road and about 20 people attempted to hijack my astra surrounding the car, I got out of the car as you can't let anyone think they've got you down here but unfortunatly 4 of them started pummelling the shit into me
Managed to get back into the car before it got any worse, then they smashed my back window and I managed to knock the car into 1st, mount a kerb and escape.
Police finished taking statements at 1:45am, happened around 9pm. Looooong night.

Btw right side of head pretty banged up and they also tried to take out my rear lights but they were more powerful than they're feet, they've knocked one of my arches loose though.

Silly question but why?, did you know any of them?.
Sorry to hear that but you shoudn't of even got out of the car. Shouldv'e just reveresed over a couple of them. You probably would have ended up with less car damage and not a pumelling.

happend to me and a coupe of mates a while back!
about 40 chav's about 16/17 thrown bricks at our car as we drove past, total unprovced(sp)
got out with a 'tool' each, 3 on about 40!! one mate had a cracked ribs(they swung a huge log of wood at him, was funny thinkin about it ), they came off much worse
we managed to get away, i reversed into a van and knocked one over(he had a brick in his hand)
but sorry to hear about that mate, real bummer when these things happen!
