My mrs has got one and its that gud its persuaded me to spend £270 on one sim free. the screen quality and camera quality are The also cant see a problem with the bulid quaility although i can see the slide getttin stiffer over time.

I dont see the big deal with the K700i bla bla, there not exactly aesthetically pleasing

Camera quality? It might seem good on the 640x480 setting (which it comes with as standard) but put it onto the 2.0mp mode or even the 1.3mp mode & look how shite it really is. It takes roughly 3seconds to capture the image, excellent if you want blurry photo's Not so good if you dont

Plus

it looks crap
battery life is poo
texting system is shite

infact im going to stop. Im bored of pointing out all the bad points of Samsung phones, there is too many. If you buy one you'll soon become bored of doing it too.

Own a Sony Ericsson for a year & you'll soon change your mind. Go into any phone shop & ask the staff what phone they use & what they would consider to be the best manufacturer on the market at the moment.

I agree totally about the samsung texting system but i lost my fone on holiday and found a samsung e330, after putting up with this for nearly 6months i find the txting system really simple and could not go back to nokia/sony etc.

As for it looking shoot, imo its one of the best looking phones around andn would not be persuaded to go out and buy a w800 just after seening a picture in a book. After all its an inprovement on the D500 which was the best selling phone of 2005

D500 looks better than the D600. Build quality is better too.

I had a D500 so I know what they're like. Your comepletely correct about them being the biggest selling phone of 2005 but thats not to say that it was the best. Far from it in my opinion.

Without sounding too stereotypical you have to agree that its the chavs dream phone. Thats not an opinion, its an observation & almost certainly a fact. Every pikey looking person I see at work wants one. They now want a D600. Why? The same reason why they buy Burberry/Prada clothes & Rockport shoes, its a brand loyalty kinda thing. It doesn't matter what the features are like cos its "smart as fuck innit". They're willing to pay a lot of money for some of these things if they need to. You might think that im straying a little from the subject here but my point is that just because lots of people buy them it doesn't mean that they're good or that its a wise choice.

I was being sarcastic

An as for the V3 looking cool, i had one of these for a day and gave it to my sister, they might be thin but there still massive and the mouthpiece part is even bigger.

Whereas the 8800, yesh i will agree with you on that.

I think some people have different opinions of why a particular phone is better than another, for me it looks over features and i dont see why this makes me a chav( i hate them with a passion)

whereas other people would put features over looks, imo is hense why they would buy a w800. Obviously you will be biased agenst my opinion as you seem to own this phone.

nothing wrong with the d600...
theres more going on with this phone than the k750i (which i have also owned)

the camera is better on the k750i also the video is better on the d600... on the whole i'd say evenly matched phones.... SPEAKING FROM SOMEONE WHO'S OWNED BOTH! so its my opinion before i get slated!

So why ask for opinions then?

Or are you trying to highlight the fact that you have owned both?

ive got a d500 as i liked the look of it, and im not too fussed on feastures as i dont spend hours playing with it. I just wanted a smallish phone that didnt look of feel like a brick.

And i must say its 'ok'. I hate the testing, but it does the job for me. although ive had to have it repaired twice as the screen was faulty and the key pad stopped working. As they refused me a new phone (which was against the sale of goods act). so ive given up and it and am now using a crappy old nokia rather than my d500!

The sales of goods act does say that they can refuse you though.
