Monkey - Was he on an F15. Still defeats the point... Theres no way he would reach those speeds.

Lucky B had a 2.0 16v, 250+bhp and hit 147mph (although still pulling). 60bhp less, MUCH less torque, and 400cc less will not give you 160mph.


i take it you havent heard about Dave A's torque after this new map? Andy H was running a custom box with custom ratios IIRC

Awesome cars, but its so smooth on a motorway too. My Dads V6 4 Motion Golf pulls quite well above 60.

Don't know anything about his car.
Andy wasn't running a custom box with custom ratios in 2003. He was runnign a standard box im 95% sure. Andy ran 145lb ft also.

Corsa Vs Saxo day was a long time ago now, before Redline and the staff went Max Power chav stylleeeeee.

Its not about how quick you can go, its about how quick you can get there surely, wen does anybody get a chance to do over 70mph without getting points or losing there license. Not often these days, this is just my personal opinion tho.

mine did 127mph.....

It was an x14xe. It had 115bhp, 102lb/ft. It had an F15cr with longer final drive.... early GSi.

viola....

All on the clocks, with 195/45/15's of course.

But theres this one time, at bandcamp, while going downhill, with my NOS, and my homies, with Chuck driving, we got to 131mph. It created 1.21gygawats and the car grew wings and took off into the sunset, with Bob the builder bangin on da subs for the chavettes to enjoy?
