Got letter through the post this morning...

doing 85mph in a 70mph dual carriageway. (A92 for ppl that know it)

got to send away and tell them who was driving...Going to also ask for the photographic evidence which they haven't suplied..

what will i get 3 points and £60 fine???? bang goes my clean licence, 1st time i've ever had points on it..

Fair enough yeah i was speeding but 85 on a dual carriageway isn't excessive, safe road and i was driving safe not as if i was doing over a ton....

oh well

Join the club Mav...most people seem to have points these days...

I had a clear licence for 5 years then got 3 points for a marginal TS10 (Running red light)...was very very marginal....

Points are the norm these days

shit news about the ticket mav, 85 on a duelcarrige way isnt excessive and does not deserve a fine or points, speed limits are set toooo low, if it was 85 down a cul-de-sac then fair enough, or maybe 85 down a main road is a wee bit exsessive, but on a dueelcarrige way i think police need to focus there attention on more serious criminal activity.

85 is 15mph above the speed limit therefore it is excessive speed

You say that as if you disapprove...

Before you send back the NIP/S172 form admitting that you were driving, send a letter asking for the photographs to assist you in identifying the driver otherwise they will not send you any photo's if you admit to driving straight away. (If you want to see a draft copy of the type of letter to write, i can supply... )

Atleast that way you get something in return for your £60..

cheers Marc i might do that...

there is always camera's on the A92 and as ppl say there is hardly ever any accidents, i know 85 is 15 above the speed but not excessive on a dual carriageway, everybody was doing that speed...but as I caught and it's fair enough...

clean licence for 13 years too

can't say Karen was driving as she hasn't drove since the accident on the 14th august and it is a factor in our case against the other drivers insurance company. For our claim...

i want a photo like this
