i am gettin a janspeed 4-2-1 manifold my m8 said that i mite have 2 get a new lambor sensor cos they rust into the old manifold is this tru??

Could be true matey? I think if you take your time and use a good releasing oil you will get it out ok. WD40 or summat?

Thing is it gets stuck for two reasons;

1) It rusts
2) Because of the heat in a manifold

Just take your time, soak it in WD40 for a good hour before trying to release it and you'll get it out ok. If you break it you'll have to buy another!

new ones are something stupid especially if you have a gsi as they are 3 wire plugs (mine was) i got a universal one for about £45ish a vauxhall gm one is something like £90

If you yank or knock the metal casing too hard when trying to free it the caeramicy type heat sink will crack and its buggrd. -lambda
