You can have the carling cup, we've won it enough times anyway.
We'll just take being in the Champs League and Premiership, are you?

We may be championship, but wont be for long, going straight back up. Bet it feels good knowing you got beaten by a weakened palace team, liverpool to up themselves to put out a full strength team too. Best team won. Oh, carry on yer current league form and we will take yer premiership place too

Seriously, I love how first division team supports dream!!
Full strength team? Carson, Whitbread, Raven, Warnock, Potter, since when have these been first team? Gerrard, Kewell and Mori just back from injury.
And best team? How many chances did you have compared to us? And posession?
Come on now, you did win and well done to you, but stop dreaming

lol @ stop dreaming.. liverpool arent in the premiership, sorry to inform you, there the wank in the middle of man utd, chelsea and arsenal and the rest of the football leauge.
and as for more chances, you had 1 more shot on target than a championship team, and still lost. 6 more off target too..

read my reply again. Liverpool to up themselves to put out a full strength team, didnt think they would lose to little old palace. Im more than happy to admit you had more possession, but you didnt score more goals. Quite simple really
I will admit i backed liverpool to win 2-1 though
First division team? Championship team, soon to be premiership team
Just let me have my moment, us palace fans dont get many days like this, knocking european champions out of the carling cup

The Carling Cup is our 4th priority this season...
1st Premiership
2nd Champions League
3rd FA Cup
4th Carling Cup
Going out of it was a god send...we put out weakened sides to give little clubs like Palace there 5 minutes of fame...then on the other hand if we go through its a bonus as it gives the reserve team lads or lads coming back from injury more run outs...
Enjoy it like I will be enjoying it in the last 16 of the Champions League...

Car about what everyones saying. Palace won. End of, no excuses. Doesnt matter how many shots on or off target. End of the day its what goes in that counts and only that.

Smaller teams will take it seriously though and I dont see why big temas dont. Progression through the rounds of ANY cup is only a good thing as it generates more income etc. Is also a route into Europe for them. So why Liverpool didnt take it seriously I dont know. Afterall I very much doubt they will be able to repeat lasts years European exploits and is NO WAY they will win the premiership.

Is correct
Its just sad to see how little clubs get excited by beating a mostly reserve side...
Highlight of there season springs to mind...

Progressing in the Champions League is a lot more important than progressing in the Carling Cup...financially...
The Carling Cup would just put more pressure on the squad due to having to play more games...
Its quite logical if you ask me...

If I was paying players thousands of pounds a game to win then I would want them to play as many games as they want. Fucking Pussehs!
Why is it Sad to see them excited over a win?
PMSL just noticed you come from Liverpool.....

Burnley in the FA Cup last season, Palace in the Carling Cup this season
Also how do you explain a 2-0 defeat to Fulham?
Liverpool are average at best.

1-0 at home in premiership, 2-1 at home in carling cup, palace beat liverpool twice in a year, palace didnt even field their strongest team, rested a few key players. So you can take yer "weakened team" excuses and throw them out the window.
So do tell me, almighty liverpool fans, how you are going to get into europe this season?
You will not win the premiership, wont win champions league, might get somewhere in the FA cup. Makes the carling cup look a little more important suddenly eh.........
Im not out for an argument, just stating my joy over a great win for our club, proving we have the quality to beat premiership teams, proving to ourselves we belong in the premiership.
I honestly wish liverpool all the best in champions league, but i cant see them winning it again.
