*860 bastards!!* my most expensice service yet. i knew it was going to be more than usual because the car has had an acceleration prob for a while (so i figured lambda), turns out it needed new lambda AND new airflow meter! also, new discs, pads, shoes and 2 new tyres.
i was hoping to get it into the bodyshop around easter! looks like its gonna be summer now!
shit.

Yeah they should have asked before carrying out such a job, otherwise they could just add all sorts of bits on to make a couple of quid.

they spoke to my dad who knows more about that sort of stuff than i do. got it done at Richtoy. they don't usually take the piss so i guess i needed it. the car was driving like a piece of shit. i'd try and pull away at lights and i'd be stuck for about 3seconds waiting for acc. to kick in!
worst thing is, i took it in on a thurs, told it would be ready for later that day. called thurs afternoon, they said they needed it overnight. called fri afternoon and told it wouldn't be ready until the monday! i had to drive 330 miles to uni on the saturday!!
ended up getting lift back down to uni with my dad. been here for 3 weeks now with my car stuck in my home garage! goin to pick it up in 2 weeks!
i guess it's my own fault for leaving it to the last minute.............again!
