One of the guys on a bike forum has just posted his video version of a crash he had in 2000. Amazing he survived

This is a video taken by the police on the day of my accident, shows my car, the other car and the innocent lorry.

What happend was the white escort was approaching Glossop from Sheifield back in 2000. He over took the lorry and hit me head on, resulting in a serious accident.

As you can see we're all very lucky to have survived.

wow, thats shocking how anybody surived that & lived to tell the tale & get their life back to normal without any permanent injuries

Fookin hell, thats near my house too that place, only other side of the hill, always bad crashes on there although an awesome road to drive on,

I would have thought the engine would have taken more of the impact?
Not sure, bad crash though. He's a top bloke an all, took it all in his stride and has had a long recovery with only a few minor twinges in hip and foot.

If the engine was in the front it would have been pushed back into the cabin and crushed him.
