a friend of mine is looking to get a mgf, he wants 2 know if this is a good idea with rover shutting down?

Yes, they are dirt cheap, rover havent provided the spares for years so ull hav no probs getting them and various places offer warranties... + there are loads of places who will service them etc

DONT get one, my mam had an MGF and just had problem after problem after problem with it, was shite build quality!

this is the advice i gave him, he wants a 2 seater soft top, i suggested a mx-5. any1 else got any ideas??? around £4500
