I just moved back home this weekend, my car insurance is due for renewal next month and because they take payment each month off me by Direct Debit, the last payment was on the 1st of this month.

So anyway I phoned them up yesterday to tell them I moved house (used to live near Wallingford in Oxfordshire), and I had to make a payment of £70 on my Maestro card because of Slough being a (much) higher risk category area for car insurance!

Can't wait for my renewal notice to come through the post...

Slough is a very bad area for car crime mate..

my last car (snowy) was stolen and taken to Slough for a wee Holiday.. a nice 3 day break

Nothing happens in Wallingford. The only thing that happens in Slough is theft. Oh and chocolate gets made there.

Steve - how far away is Uxbridge from Slough in time terms, because I have a mate that lives in Cowley (?) that I haven't seen in ages, so might go up and see him soon!
