Yeh but it never reached us like they said it would did it?? And 800 out of 8000 isn't that much.

Ok, but i am not bothered until it happens. you could get hit by a car before bird flu hits britain, so i will worry about it when and if it happens.

so what happens if someone goes on holiday to say turkey or thailand and catches it there and brings this bird flu back into the uk??
has it actually developed into a human 2 human passing virus now?

please STFU. but yes H5N1 mutates with the normal human flu virus, which then becomes tollerent to anti-biotics, and can kill those who cannot fight the infection, ie, very young/old, AIDS victims, etc etc
