what can u recommend on ebay..nothing expensive tho..but nothing thats too shit! anything you can recommend that will suit me!
im gonna flog my k750i so i can buy stuff!

just to be DJ in my opinion you have ato have a bit of savi as to wjhat is good music to mix and whats not....what tunes go well etc..

no, the pope of course you! besides all the equipment, it will take a lot of practice and a lot of patience, then try your luck at parties, then get in wiht the local nightclub

i depends on what style you want to go into as to what decks you get.

If you just want to practise and not scratch etc. then you will be OK with belt drive decks. BUT

IMO whatever style you want to go into, i would get direct drive decks. These are run from a motor as opposed to a belt and therefore hold the speed and BPM better.

Direct drives are the way forward, but i would spend less than 150 mate. Anything else just u2u me!

agreed, this is how much ive spent altogether on the hobby:
decks:£690
mixer:£495
cd recorder: £200
amp and speakers: £200
headphones:£50
carts:£110
thats £1745 just on equipment, and i have about 400 records which i would rather not work out how much ive spent on them
the best value decks out there for the money are citronic pd45's and behringer mixers are very cheap for what they are aswell

£400 mixer
£300 hifi
£220 amp
£300 15" speakers
£80 12" sub
£120 headphones
£120 concorde needles

and a shitloada records at £7/8 each
