Will be buying 4 new tyres for the Pug in the next few weeks...any recommendations on a decent tyre to buy...dont want nothing too expensive then again dont want no budget crap...theres a special offer on black circles for these two:

Falken ZE 512 195/50 R15 V £41.88 each (incl fitting)
Toyo Proxes T1-S 195/50 R15 V £47.07 each (incl fitting)

Had the Proxes on the MR2 and they lasted a while...I liked them...

Any input?

If I were to buy the tyres from say mytyres delivered...

How much on average does a garage charge to fit and balance etc if you supply your own tyres?

I have the ZE512s on the Astra, I prefer them to the Toyos I had on my old Astra.

(Tyre size = 195/55/15 though on my current Astra)

Sound as mytyres are working out around £136.80 delivered for 4 Toyo's T1-S....Where as blackcircles works out at £143.64 delivered for the same tyres...

I know its only £6 odd...but I might aswell save myself that as it will cost around £20 if I get them fitted/balanced...also as im a poor student every penny saved counts...
