Hi All

Just had delivered a Steinmetz bodykit ( Front/Side shirts) for the Corsa B (From E-bay)

It Said.............
The kit is virtually as new with no cracks or dents

Total cost with postage came to £185, i bidded on this due to the photo the guy put up on E-bay......checkout the link below for details/photos

i feel a little turned over i gotta laugh

Just paint it up. For £185 what did you expect, all though the description is slightly shite.

No, .................looked ok in the photo..... ive also got a "Mint" rear spoiler coming from him also!! God knows what that will look like.

description is a bit off but when them skirts are £160 and the splitter will probably be just as much, for the price of a lick of paint u got a bargain i think

if it's just paint mate think thats ok price...BUT should have been mentioned in the auction about the state they are in.

dont blame u i'd be annoyed but you gota look on the bright side, if you bought it all new it'd have cost loads more and you'd have still have had to get them sprayed

its only the paint though - its never seen any plastic primer - so the top coat will never have bonded to the kit - hence flaking off - its not a major issue and within half a day - they would be as new if you just stripped the remaining paint off

tbh I think you got a bargain seeing as you'll need them painting anyway

looks like it was painted with no primer and has flaked off
get it re-done properly and itll be fine

Take a Karcher to the bits, should strip off the paint, then do a proper job of spraying them. You've not got such a bad deal, better that they arrived like that then have them on the car and flaking first time you jetwashed it.
