how does it work with different subdomains? e.g:

if i write a cookie at http://domain.com
can i read it from http://www.domain.com and http://www2.domain.com (even if they are on different servers?) but the other way round wont work??

It's usual that cookies are defined by the host portion of the address (and this is a bit more secure).

Think you can do wildcard cookies -- do a Google...
