i have recently had an xe engine put into my corsa gsi and was wondering if anyone can help me out it only seems to be doing 140 miles to about £35 of fuel can anyone help?

Yes, maybe because you just had it dropped in you have being giving it some stick!
I averaged 180miles from a full tank, that was a mixture of hard and not so hard driving!

what does a standard 1.2, 1.0 etc do to the gallon compared to an xe then?

i get about 270 to a tank work n back. went manchester to birmingham n home all round trip 389miles to a tank!

i thought just scraping 110 to £15quid was bad, and thats taking it easy.

I get about 230/250 miles to a full tank (35 quid) (1.4 16v)
