I go to greece in a week and i don't have a clue how much to take with me for the 2 weeks im away for
We are staying in a hotel, B&B. I'd like to go on a couple of day trip thingys, but i dont know how much they will cost per person
Also what do i do about taking the money do i take half euros and travellers cheques or what?
I know i sound like a dick but this is the first time i've been abroad for 4 nearly 5 years and i want to be organised
Help really appreciated ...

Take as much as you can afford to take, but dont change it all over, you can always change more when you get there if needed, but exchange rate will probably suck for changing back to sterling

If your with Nationwide just take your debit/credit card with you and withdraw money when your out there, as nationwide don't charge like other banks.
I always take euros, but make sure you get a safety deposit box as soon as you get there in your apartment.

travellers cheques is definitly a good idea if you plan on taking more than a couple of hundred (which im guessing you will) as otherwise your fooked if you money gets stolen or lost!
Also its always best to make sure you've a credit card or bank card with some money in, just incase of any emergencies. My GF's family needed it this summer when her Nan broke her leg in cyprus, and they had to pay for everything until insurance sorted itself out!

500-600 is plent enough as youve got breakfast, you only need money for a few trips and and food at nite maybe a snack though day, id say 450 at the most but its entirely up 2 u

No you dont have to go into departures, but if you do, there'll be shops and somewhere to eat, if your flyingat 8 you'll probably get something breakfasty on the plane

True i keep worrying that im going to get on the wrong plane but ive been told they check your tickets at every bit so that would be impossible
I haven't had my tickets yet thou Travel agents said they are sent out a week before i go, surely thats a bad thing, what if they dont arrive?

where abouts in Zante Ally? Went there a few years ago, was really nice.
Got to do the Shipwreck Cove excursion if you can costs around £40-50 each if i remember rightly.
Don't bother with the glass bottom boat rides, they're pants and you can't see anything in the water anyway because the boat churns it all up
Pedalows are good for chasing turtles

Tsilvi, quieter part about 10 mins bus ride from the clubbing bit
I got £200 in euros and £300 in travellers cheques i dont know how i would spend any more than £500, gives me about £50 a day which is more than enough seeing as Rich will probably take £600, thats nearly £100 a day to live on

You only need a few euros a day for lunch and even then what with the heat you probably won't want to eat (i didn't )

I'd advise ya to take as much as possible!
But if your on a budget.. makesure ya get up for breakfast (i never do), and fill yaself up as much as ya can.... shouldn't make ya hungry untill afternoonish, and then you can maybe just snack on a butty or something, then have a big meal for your tea.
Drink water through the day, bottled stuff from the shops, as will most prob be cheaper, and healthier!
My advice... hehe... i'd say around £500+!
Have a good holiday!
