Do Higher Powers act through such people as Adolf Hitler "in fulfilment of Destiny"? Can the future be foreseen centuries ahead? On Monday 3 October 2005 we shall have our answer at last.
On Monday 3 October 2005 there will occur a total eclipse of the sun visible over the North Atlantic, Portugal and Spain, North Africa and parts of the Middle East. This eclipse is indicated as being of special importance in prophecy. It is the Hitler eclipse.
In the Hadeeths (ancient texts interpreting the Koran), the War of the Mahdi begins in the year following a solar eclipse. The eclipse in question occurs in the holy Islamic month of Ramadan in which there is both a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse. In 2005, Ramadan begins on 3 October and ends one month later. In this Ramadan month, there is the rare occurrence of a solar eclipse on 3 October, and a lunar eclipse on 17 October. Therefore it would appear that in Islamic prophecy, the War of the Mahdi begins in 2006.
This coincides with the prophecies of Nostradamus who, in quatrain 5:25, states that the War of the Mahdi begins when "Sun, Mars and Venus are in Leo". This occurs every five or six years or so, and the next occurrence is August 2006.
The Hitler prophecy is to be found in Nostradamus' letter to Henry II. Referring to "The Rise of the New Babylon" Nostradamus states of Iraq that she is "the miserable daughter enlarged by the abomination of the holocaust which will last only 73 years and 7 months."
I have never seen a Nostradamus commentary which has got to grips with this particular sentence of prophecy. The problem is that prophecy is not an exact science. Our existence is a mixture of determinism and free will, and in the mists of future time 400 years ahead it may not be so easy for a clairvoyant to call an event such as the Second World War. Very few references to the Second World War have been identified in prophecy, and the reason is that, despite all the sneers and rejection of, or should I say suppression of the idea of, "miracle weapons", it really could have gone either way until the end of March 1945. If we read the sentence in the foregoing paragraph with that in mind, it is logical to infer that Nostradamus saw the Nazis at least having the upper hand in mainland Europe at the end of hostilities.
Nostradamus was Jewish. When a Jewish person speaks of "the Holocaust", even 400 years before it happened, he is thinking of only one Holocaust, and that is the Holocaust which commenced on 30 January 1933 with Hitler's seizure of power in Germany. If we add 73 years and 7 months to the date 30 January 1933, we come up with 30 August 2006 for the Rise of the New Babylon which is, as we have seen, the date when the War of the Mahdi begins.
This intriguing fact is supported by numerology. Using the substitution code A=1 through to Z=26, we find that Hitler=8+9+20+12+5+18=72.
1933 + 72= 2005, the projected end of Hitler's National Socialism and western civilisation.
What have we to expect from the eclipse of 3 October 2005? If it all passes off quietly, the War of the Mahdi may be expected to begin in August 2006. According to all western prophecies it lasts a very long time. Nostradamus says 27 years, which indicates something fought without high technology. This may be interpreted as a continuation of the present grim state of affairs for years and years, or a religious war fought over the ruins of civilisation.
I rather think the latter, and for the following reason. Nostradamus refers to something he calls "The Great Translation" occurring in the October of the year preceding The War of the Mahdi, i.e. in October 2005. It is obvious to me from the prophecies what this is, but I was subjected to such foul abuse on an earlier occasion on another website when I attempted to explain it that I shall remain silent here save to say that if no unexplained celestial body is observed during the eclipse, then for me Nostradamus' prophecies fail.

When I was young the number 37 was my favourite number, don't ask me why it just was, when ever I had to do something I always used to say "I've got 37 seconds to do it in"
I was born 37 years after Hitlers death and I have a unique fasination with him
