Has anyone got any tips to help combat the puppy biting me and the mrs, things that have worked for you in the past.

As said above, tap it on the nose, or I've read that you should use a water pistol to give it a quick spray just after its nipped you...... Dunno if it works but thats what they suggest.

What puppy have you got? How old?

We got this little beast last year, she's almost a year old now.

Clap your hands really loudly in front of its face

Of tap the end of its nose

Ideally, you dont want to get into the habit of smacking, smacking a dog is unecessary other methods work as well.

Or even try putting her in the cage and putting cage in a different room. Leave her for 15/20 mins, then bring her back out, if she does it again ... put her in the cage untill she learn to stop

It wont happen over night remember

When ours was a puppy she used to bite constantly, just used to tap the end of her nose, if she did it again she'd go in her cage for 5miutes in a different room. But, Like Ally says its a slow process.
