Thinking about taking my car for a trackday but not sure how much it will cost?

airfield like elvington is £99, small track like anglesea is £125, Oulton Park is £225. All prices from www.bookatrack.com

Any other cheaper alternatives.

Makes a mockery of the "Save it for the track" anti speed campains

Cheaper running the risk and getting a £60 fine 3 points than paying hundreds of pounds every month

not really, if you drove around on the limit as fast as you can all day im sure you would get slightly more than 3 points and £60

Same here just didnt expect it to be so expensive, paying for the track, petrol, tyres would be like a second mortage.

your not only paying for the track your paying for the people who will come running when you smack into the tyre wall! lol! petrol....wont use that much... tyres do get worn a little faster tho

How long do you get on the track for, please say its more than 3 laps for £150

some have an open pit lane, allowing you to go in and out all day, others have sessions, like 10 20min sessions a day allowing you on for 20mins then off whilst the pros have a go then they come off and you go back on etc....

On a track day you will easily do a full tank (or 2), and muller a set of pads and tyres.

Mine didn't do many laps on Thursday and the tyres and brake pads (which were both semi worn) are now dead LOL
