dont legally need headlights if you can prove the car is only driven in the daylight.

jake, just be rid of the bulk head.... wel lthe one in the engine bay....

hacking the boot etc up with a grinder is actually easy to do neatly. and the fit will be better than a fiberglass one.... poly carb windows mean you can gut the front doors to just a skin.... id keep the dor bars until you have a front cage, will come in handy in any minor accidents....

should get you closer to the 850kg you want to day dude, i feel the chunk ill be removing today will be heafty!

get rid of ya glove box you dont need it - make a "rally net" for behind ya seat to use for anything you need to keep in one place

i gutted mine with a grinder
you will need a welder to plug any holes you make in the rear arches

I cant see how the standard boot can be lightened as much as the fibre glass one I have both and the fibre glass one is very light I think we will have to way both.

Oh and I want in on the lightest corsa competition

just dont drive it at night.. they cant disprove you only drive it in the daytime..

although you stil need indicators and stop lights...

Just weighed my tailgates
fibreglass no window 4kg

Standard with glass and nothing else and no hinges 12-13kg

Not accurate as I used the bathromm scales but there is a big difference there.

Look foward to seing what your mr grinder can do
