Hey, I know there are a few scooby owners on here, and Im just wondering what sort money goes into them each month, and what sort of mileage you put on them.
Thing is Ive got a fulltime job, with no rent/food etc to pay and Im now saving up for a new car, only thing is its a fair trek to work, and I have no room to keep both my Corsa and another car.
I know it wouldnt be a sensible choice, but Ive always wanted a scooby and I want one before all the decent older ones get too old and rare, if you know what I mean.
I might only get a fairly low spec one, and may only keep it for a short length of time, just want a bit of info before I start shopping around.
Cheers

- yeah, Id have to watch my Revs.
If only I had spacew for two cars, then Id just use the Corsa for commuting, and the scoob for weekends

i drove an 04 plate WRX Sti last night which has about 350bhp.
I think you would spent a lot more than you think on petrol You will hear the noise and feel the speed and find a reason to go out all the time

I was for the supra and rx7, then gave my mates a good thrashing and then went towards the idea of the rex or scooby, when the corsa goes either a new moto-x bike and a scooby or the rex, love the scooby sound and the 4x4

Does cost a few quid. MPG can be anything from about 12 to 25 (320bhp P1)
Insurance is less than a grand for me so not too bad. I have another car to use during the week and just use the Impreza as my weekend toy. I do around 200 miles a year on average!
Worth every penny spent tho! Its a great car and running costs in comparison to ther cars in its class arent that bad.

Thing is I could keep my corsa if I saved up a bit longer, just already have 5 cars on the drive, no room for another...
