I imagine he paid a lot less than that for the shell....

Reckon he's got 40k-50k in it though. The transmission isn't cheap (box, front and rear diffs). Then there is the engine, which also had nitorus and anti lag. Suspention, brakes, chassis work, interior etc...

But it was worth every penny!

Nice dashboard timrud_

Fiesta is stupidly quick!

All the cars looking nice and quick although suprised at how slow the Lambo looks even though I know it isn't really Lambo does sound very good

That was the last time that dashboard will ever be seen, so thats why it got a lot of footage!

The car is sat at the moment with no dashboard, carpets, steering column infact no anything inside LOL

Got a nice black dash for it, electric power steering and of course the stack to go in

Yea the video from the van should be well cool. As we got to the first top corner i started throwing my car and making it completely lose control, i mean proper 100MPH full lock on steering wheel scary shit! LOL.. Then the Lambo and the Fiesta were burning tyres...

Oh and i touched the back of the van with my bumper so on their video looks like i was nudging em forward! LOL

CorsAsh - when it set off or when it changed gear?

The light coloured smoke is because on a LET (or XE) if you hammer them round bends it sucks a bit of oil and chucks it out of the breather and gets burnt away. Mine does that BAD

Doing a mod to stop it now its off the road for a week or so....

The car is way down on fuel pressure, but the ECU detects that and retards the boost accordingly. But it also thinks it has standard injectors in.. which it doesn't.

So it is underfueling (due to fuel pressure, but the car adjusts for that), but it is overfueling too. Hmmm.... confusing ROFL

BTW the injectors are only 9cc more so no danger of borewash, just add an extra bit of safety, I won't see any power increase.

I meant the big plume at the launch...

Was like my mate's cossie, had a dodgy sensor, overfuelled and chucked out clouds like that...

Get what you mean about the pressure, basically overcompensating and putting too much fuel in?

What are you doing with the oil thing then? Seen those plates you can put in that have holes in for the oil to drain through like a baffle...

The engine is going soon... But I'll plate it for the next owner....

The smoke from the lauch is oil as it will of just been chucked around and it will be collected oil that just needs burning....

Nah the pressure is down, so boost is down, but the car tells the injects to put x amount in thinking they are standard, but the flow slightly more, so when the engine asks for x, it gets a little bit more...
