Samco do some, but you can only get them from Regal in Southampton.

Yes. Or you can get the hoses made up especially... Loads of people do it, and it probably works out less than 'designer' hoses.

TBH they are just there to look good. As on race cars they use lightweight alloy pipes instead to save on weight.

Although for boost pipes they are more rigid, but again, on high boost aplications you would use metal pipes.
