if for example, i have a saxo which is insured and have a corsa (without an engine and other bits) which isnt insured/mot/taxed and im wanting to park on a street with the corsa on a trailor attatched to the saxo, is this legal?
...probably a no, but just to make sure!

yes its legal BUT for how long your allowed to leave it there is another question.
also i wouldent want to trailer a corsa with a Saxo anyway

I'd very much doubt it is 100% legal, as you are not covered if an accident occoured.

it might be as obviously people tow track cars and that which aint legal etc
the maion thing would be the fact that the saxo pulling a tralor with a corsa on it is probably more illegal due to overloading!

ye i know i shouldnt be towing a corsa with a saxo, ill probably get it towed there with another car anyway, or even if it is towed by the corsa its less than 10mlies away so i shud be okay.
im needing to move out u see and the cars have got to come with me and without a drive or garage i cnt think of another way

ye i know what u mean sam with it being too heavy for the saxo but bear in mind that this corsa has no interior and no engine it should be fine weight wise, but of course the courts will think otherwise

o rite, that aint good. there is a back alley so i might have to leave it there if the police complain.
what reason will the police tell me to move it tho? will it be the looks of the vehicle or it not having inurance etc?

the police can just come and remove it mate, no questions asked now a days.
just find a garage you can rent there about £15 a week, or find a mate with a driveway.....
whats the corsa? if its cheap sell it me saves the worry

im sure you dont have to have insurance for a car you are not driving on the road. they will see its just a shell anyway. will prob need to be road taxed tho

looks like ill have to find a cheap garage sumwer. ill probablky jst hide it at a mates or sumfin till i find a place to live of my own with a garage, cheers for the help anyways!
i would love to sell it cos i dnt even want to do it up again and drive it, but my private reg is on it tho and it needs an mot b4 i can transfer plates

i used to park a fucked up nova in the same place for about a month, the ford garage which is nearby wanted the car moving, but even tho it had no insurance the police still cudnt move it.
and i could probably make the corsa look like its drivable, so its wont look such a mess

no offence mate but i need to sell it someone who i know well enough to do that jst incase they nick the reg of me, its worth too much to me really! iv got a few people who will buy the car anyway if i was to do that but this was the corsa i traded for that saxo i put 10k into lol so its worth alot more to me than anyone else if u knw what i mean. but if i change my mind ill let u know

upto you mate, offers there let me know.
i will even sign a contact to say the reg plate it yours once the car in finished, i did the same when i got Matt C car, as he had taken it off the road and couldent take the reg off......
