All I know is that they are very expensive to repair if they go wrong.

Build quality and driving position are fab, ergonomics are spot on.

Expense to repair is usual german nose throught paying price.

Good price if its a coupe, bad if its a four door saloon, the 320 is prob one of the worse models as it is a heavy thirsty car which isnt that quick, 318is coupe is the better model IMO but dosnt have the noise that the straight 6 has!

diff ball game when you go 2.0 above .. there all straight 6 and 24v around about 170bhp at the rear immensly comfy inside,, powerful and will tank on over 100thou miles.. if its low milage and been a good running and service its a fuking bargain mate ! and ther not that costy to look after cuz they rarly brake in my opinion GERMAN engineering

320's are 150BHP, should see off the usual 2.0L saloons, vectra, mondeo etc. Other than that, its pretty heavy, no rear diff, and they drive like an arse in the wet. My 328 coupe is nice but I wouldn't have a 2.0, can imagine it takes a while to get going.
