I've heard mixed views/thoughts/opinions...

whats everyones thoughts on them in turns of being a benefit for your car or not? and justification .etc

i'm basically looking for one to stop it from taking such a battering from the elements and also to make all the polishing and cleaning done on a sunday last a few more days

would slow down a car thief, tie it to all wheels when you put it on, they'd have to take it off before stealing the car lol.

I got a Dupont one from Halfords last weekend, 54.99 and its waterproof (not that it gets wet) heat proof and it does'nt let condensation build up either, I bought it to stop my car getting dusty and damp over winter.

probably a good idea if you cherish ur car.

but not waterproof ones? surely they are just gonna hold moisture on ur paint work and damage it cos its got nowhere to evapourate off?
