Well, this item was brought to my attention on GC a few days ago...
ITEM
I couldn't resist asking the person to back up his claimed 12bhp power upgrade from a simple resistor by asking him;
" Can you show me the rolling road power graphs to prove your claimed power output. You don't just geuss how much power an engine modification provides because it says something vaugely similar in Max Power magazine..."
(Had to put in a cheeky little comment to becuase I'm a cfut)...
His reply was:
Ok, I will try to keep this as simple as I can so you may be able to follow, you have been registered on Ebay since 3rd June 2005 and have no trading record on here, you can't slander a seller by sending the sort of messages you sent to me.
Firstly I have forwarded a copy of the message to the Ebay staff, for which I know will be noted against you, this could result in you being removed from using Ebay.
I am not sure what your problem is, however if you insist on targeting me, and want proof, just send another message - but this time put your phone number and address down, I will pop round and show you the rolling road report in person. Many thanks from dazzarooney.
Ok so dair do's, I pissed him off, and he wants to hurt me (or show me the RR graphs ), but I'm sorry, when you look like this you shouldn't be threatening people:

I just asked him for some rr graphs to proove hsi other mods made the power increase and a wiring diagram and rr before and after of a vuxhall engine with his resistor mod

I replyed saying that I couldn't tell him my address or phone number because the message will be publicly viewable, but then requested his e-mail adress so I could send it with confidence.

The thing is he is selling loads, must be making abit of money, here's my question.
Does your car have to be chaved up for the 20p resistor to work? I've heard nightmares that they can affect the brightness of neon washer jets, is this true or merely a myth?

They make silly money Paul from CHAVS selling this crap !!
Heard the Ebay latest ??
You can call your buyer / seller up and the calls will be charged @ per silly a min and the cost goes to Ebay !

This is the defining quote of 2005...
So why is our product different? It’s a bit like buying a DVD for £17.99 the disk cost about 50p, so the information on the disk (the film) is what you are paying for.

Are you sure this is true? Ebay have just bought Skype for Seller > Buyer calls and since Skype is VOIP its free.
