Since monday ive been working fulltime as an IT Technician, and im knackard already!

ATM Im only working 9 - 5, but after an induction month ill be added to the shift rotor, working 9.5hr shifts.

At first I thought "Yeah loads of money" but now I just think im gonna be stuck like this for years, geting up, driving 40 miles, working, drving back, having tea and ticking off the days till the weekend before going to bed, its shit

Did anyone else feel like this when they started work, or is it just me? HOpefully ill feel a bit better on my first payday, but until then im spending all my money on Petrol and pints at dinner time

well i was student from 16-24

so going into full time work was quite a shock for me. the only problem i have with it is that it screws up my gym training a bit during the week

Dont get me started

Basically I go to college Mon-Wed 9 - 5

My gym membership is 8.30am - 4.30pm so that rules that out

Thurs - Sun I work, mixtures of earlys and lates, so getting to the gym is like that buzz I used to get of going out it town on the weekend

blah blah blah.

I went to college for 3 years, to be honest it was just to get my age ticking over, no one likes to hire you when you are too young.

Im still in my first job as a network engineer in the city of london, I love it everyday and do 7-3 shifts most days.

If you dont enjoy your job find one you do, its well worth it.
