Some bloke won one of my auctions three weeks ago.
Emailed him stight away with the payment insturctions etc etc.
Emailed me a day later saying he was going to stick a cheque in the post the next morning.
3 or 4 days later emailed him and said I hadnt had anything. Didnt get a responce.
left it another week sent him another email. No responce.
Left it two weeks and said I hadnt had any money and he hasnt responded to my emails. Get in touch or I will file a none paying bidder thing with ebay. No responce.
Saturday just gone filled in a none paying bidder alert and he hasnt responded to that.
Yesterday I left him negative feed back saying he was a none payer and didnt respond to emails.
Playing golf this eveining and one of my neighbours rings me and said a letter had come for me this morning. (had thier address on it not mine  )
Opened it and it was his cheque dated a week after the auction had finished, it all mancy, half screwed up and nasty looking 
What do I do?

someone won the auction sent a cheque (although a little late)
whats the problem?
maybe cash the cheque and send the item
what else would you do?

Three weeks late after not replying to any emails, after i have left bad feed back and filled a none paying bidder.

Whens the post mark on the envolope it came in dated? Wouldnt surprise em if he recieved your neg feedback yesterday, wrote the cheque out and bunged it in the post first class but screwed up and battered to make it look like it had been lost .

cash it and when it goes through send the item - get into touch with ebay and ask them to wipe the "NONE" payment thingy off his account - blame it on Royal mail?!?
this guy in the most extreme case may have had to go see a famly member abroud and does not have a internet access

hmmm you can remove the negative feedback from his account, well when he leaved u negative feedback aswell you can as no doubt he will do. cash cheque see were that takes you, he probs canceled it or something trying to be clever.

Cant really see the post mark.
He still hasnt replied to any of my emails.

Left his feed back late at night and it arrived the next day.

Try and cash the cheque firstly, if it goes through send the item. Send him an email saying you've only just rceeived and you are wiping the bad feedback sorted.
