I had £1290 in my account beginning of yesterday (Tuesday). Looked in there just now and over £600 has been taken out... wtf.

rang the bank and they said it might be due to a computer error and not to worry as it will be refunded. They said they could see the individual transactions... They said it was quite a common occurance I'm a bit worried because I need this money to purchase ticket for my travel to london!

This ever happened to anyone before?

I am in the middle of a dispute with the bank.

Somehow £69.99 has been taken out via switch. Without my consent and without any knowledge of the who the company is. I have never seen this company before or can find any information about them. I have my debit card here and have not purchased anything that recent online. I'm fuming and am waiting for the bank to get back to me.

just rang them, another £200 was taken out today. That's over 800 squids now.

What The FCUK

gotta wait till monday, ring em back and dispute the transactions. They send me a form. I send them it back along with my cut up card. Takes 10 days to get the money back into my account.

What i'm going to do until then is anyone's guess.

Thing is my 'Last Nights Balance' still says £1290 which is the correct amount.

'Current Balance' says £440

Edd you haven't made a thread about it you are posting about a completely different subject in a serious thread by a person whos had £800 taken from his bank account

The fact that who posted what, in what thread, on what day and shouldnt have been there has no relevance to what --Dave-- is asking, if you feel that somthing was done or said or posted somewhere it shouldnt then U2U admin and they will move it if needs be.

I've u2u'd Ian to get all this crap out of this thread because the subjects gone completely off track and isnt helping anyone

Bye

Ally - Barclays have put a block on my card and sent me a new one along with a new pin. Hopefully no more transactions like this will go on.

Gonna take ages for Barclays to get the money back to me though... can do without this really...

I had £400,000 put into my bank account last month by Natwest. I paid in £400 cash but she must of entered it wrong.

They took it out 2 days later when they realised the mistake, but I didnt know about it until I got my statement saying I'd paid in and spent over £400k that month!!
