Was out on the back of my mates bike last night did a big lap of the wirral, on the way back we went down a big road (a41) which at one point turns into a good bit of dual carriage way, anyways we were following this little starlet gt, obviously had some engine mods as it sounded rather good and had nice leightweight wheels etc, anyway we got onto the corner for this bit of road and off he goes, we followed a couple of car lengths behind mate was feathering the throttle until we hit the straight fair play he must have been doing 70/80 at this point and it took us about 200m to get passed him, never been so scared going round some of those corners he started leaning like I wasn't even on the back the starlet caught up due to the corners but then flashed us back out on the last nit of straight where we must have got upto about a ton, he wasn't far behind tho I want one of these Oh yeha and when we pulled up to the first set of lights after that next to the starlet he gave us thumbs up and my mate decided to try and get a good launch he had the front wheels about 3 ft in the air when we noticed the police go passed on the other side of the road suprisingly enough we didn't get followed but I was shaking a little when we got home

I reckon a standard Starlet GT would be a good race against a standard XE.

Yeah its crazy , the amount of power you can squeaze from them , mate spent over 5K on his , only really uses it for track days, has some nice black rims for it when its on the road , had the track slags on there at combe.
