40Amp relay tapped into the brown and white wire that runs to the fan from the temperature sensor. Run a switch to the relay. This way it will still come on automatically.

Na I don't want it to come automatically still, sounds WAY too hard, havent got a clue about this sorta crap.
How do u do it so it only comes on when i turn it on?

well the easiest way i would think (not too sure as i havnt done it so may miss something out) would be to find the live wire leading to the fan cut it before it leads to the sensor and connect this into the ignition live probably easier to find one inside the car behind the stereo or under the glove box area then stick a switch in there
never tried this and dont know anythin bout how the fan works so could make no sense at all but its an idea..

That would work but you would need to use a 40amp wire, switch & fuse. There are no 40's inside the car i dont think so you would need to run it to the battery.
The best way is to use a relay like I described, here is a diagram i drew in paint to help:

So all I need to is tap in to the brown wire put a 40amp in and then wire it to a switch?

Got the 40amp rely. theres 4 teminals comin ouuta it. 1 to the switch, 1 to the brown/white wire and wats the other 2?

other two are earths. Connect them to the negative on the battery
