I hope he did a deal. I've seen these going to close half price for nearly new. Some mags rated it better than Monaro.

You can tell me ya-self sweetie pie

Gonna get me a pipe, some driving gloves, a red tartan car blanket and a trilby for the full effect.
Then black rims, N2O and blower to complete the stealth ensemble

Yeah, but your grandad would probably opt for gay wheel drive and diesel economy rather than hanging the arse out with 302 lb ft and a big grin

Nah, no worries. They're cool. Ford unit, unburstable and nicely tunable

And Sean Hyland Motorsport in conjunction with Dreadnought Tuning in Perthshire do a nice little blower conversion that will have her making at least 400 brake and 420 lb ft. Not bad for a cheap little commuter

Just looked at power/torque plot - torque jumps from approx 80/90 lb at 1700 rpm to over 400 at 2500ish - gonna have to get me a contract with a tyre supplier

Certainly is Jambo

Engine was developed by Roush industries and she's got a yank gearbox with special ratios and a Hydratrack LSD aswell and 2 extra shock absorbers mounted to the diff for torque damping - it's quite a bit of kit, especially for the money.

Already driven my Father's car and it's an animal (that's why i'm getting one) but nice and refined when you drive sensible - you can leave it in 3rd all bloody day
