My girlfriend 's dad as just bought a peugeot 306 xrdt of a mate for 300 quid with 105,000 miles on it. The bloke wanted to get rid. He says i can have it for about the same off him if i want it.. Should i sell the corsa, 1.2 8v with 72k on and buy that, i/m thinking yes. Its got full service history etc the 306 so the engine should last quite abit longer, am i right?
How much realistically should i get for my corsa (pics in garage) thinking i might be able to find a young driver somewhere that wants it, as it's cheap insurance and looks nicer than most corsa's to say it's hardly modded?!

306 on 100k should be fine as it's a diesel And it's well serviced!

Same engine as what my Dad had in his Pug 309 Diesel many moons ago. His was on 294k when he sold it and the only problem was a noisy drive shaft!

The 1.2 8v engnies are bomb proof. You coul run one dry of oil and it wouldn't mind.

1.9 TD i think. Though it already had plus 15bhp with the venoms on?!
Maybe doing a straight swap now, then my girlfriend can get insured on my corsa, would prefer to make abit of coin on it but still feel its a decent deal.
