To be honest with you...everyone seems to think England are world beaters...we are not...the English media has hyped the team up so much...YES we have excellent players in most positions...BUT our achillies heal is still the left side...we have to play players in strange positions and formations to accomodate the fact we have no decent left winger..and this is the reason we sont do as well as we can or as well as peoples expectations..
If we put an england side out 4-4-2 or even 4-5-1 with a proper left sided player we would do better...with our BEST players (Gerrard, Lampard etc) playing in there BEST positions...

Ferdinand Terry Carragher (in back 3)
Wright-Philips Beckham Gerrard Lampard A.Cole (midfield 5)
Rooney (Lone Stiker)
Thats would be mine for most away games...then maybe dropping back to a 4-4-2 for home games...with Owen and Rooney up front...

Fuck me what a utter shite performance that was.
Sven has no fucking clue what so ever, we play shit on Saturday using a 4-5-1 formation that clearly didn't work, so youd think having your best striker available again you would put him in't team and revert back to 4-4-2 which everyone knows and is familiar with, but no, he plays 4-5-1 again
