Ok I was wondering if there was a way to export all the files names from a folder to excel or word or even a csv for that matter?

Go to Start, Run, type in cmd and click OK.
Navigate to the drive and directory you want a file listing of (for example, if you want to list the files in your d:\files directory, you would type in d:, then cd\files, then use the DIR command to export a file listing to a text file as in my example above...
