brother was parked on the side of the road waiting to pull away when some divvy biatch in an audi came and pulled in too sharply into the space in front of him. The side of her car caught the front offside corner of his and she got out going mental The damage to her car was quite substantial as she scraped all the way down the length of hers....
When she calmed down, she seemed to realise that it was her fault and apologised. She also admitted it was her fault. Details were exchanged anyway and off we went.
1 week on, my brother's insurers ring up and notify him that she has filed a claim against him saying it was his fault and that she has her solicitors involved
What can we do for proof and to strengthen our story? He didn't bother repairing his car (i'm driving it now anyway) so we can still get pics of the damage. Even from looking at that it's obvious that it was her fault.
any advice appreciated

if there are pics, then there should be no problem. get an engineer to check over the damage to her car so a report can be filed. she aint got a leg to stand on if you claim your car was stationary.

it was stationary. Without a doubt.
I will get pics of the damage tonight. What are the next steps likely to be? Will my brother hear back from his insurers again?

This better not because I will find out where she lives and torture her children!

she has no proof. It's just her word. She has massive scratches going alongside the full length of her car and my brother's car only has the damage on the corner.
Surely this would point towards what happened and the true story? Is there anything i can provide to the insurers that will help?

thing is he's an idiot and doesn't really care as I'm the one driving the car now. He bought mine. I don't want him to sit back and do nothing and let this bint get one over on him.
