yesh my engine rebuild shall begin finally!!
Bits will look a little like this... but the compressor on the turbo is slightly smaller in the pics, mines bigger.. 


Turbos good to flow enough for about 450-500bhp 
and im talking to a company about Omex managment and steel rods...

what compression ratio they take it down to then?
ive got Je 87mil forged low comp ones, they have like a dome in the middle to aid the mixture or summit.
what price did you get the turbo and manifold for? and which turbo is it? iv been considering getting some bits of that fella on mig for the corsa

its the 525 turbo with the compressor with an A/R of 0.60 or somthing...
the pistons will be C/R of 7.8:1 but can be machined down further i belive...
total cost is £1200 iirc to my door

quite fancy one of them turbos for the greyskull bus. mine smokes every now and again, not all the time though, only every once in a while.
whats a turbo car if it aint got all mulit coloured smoke coming out the bcak though

the only smoke should be black under hard acceleration, followed by flames on the gear change

I heard that rally cars use anti lag and thier exhaust manifolds only last a couple of hundred miles because they get fuel to burn in the manifold itself to keep the turbo spooling...

dunno, cant see that being a problem tbh, you think how hot one gets on full boost, can nearly see through em sometimes.. shall see what happens

Make sure the turbo has a 247 shaft (Maram), and just watch yuor EGT's and you will be fine.
Turbos that can handle antilag are VERY expnsive. Beyond reasonable expenditre for a few pops and bangs really.
