theres lots of different traders.

Stocks and shares isnt day trading, day trading is like futures, kind of people I deal with every day.

Think hes doing bonds

He used to do the futures years and years go, when it was better in the old days (hand signals etc) its all done on screen now really.

Thats what i done for a bit.

Yeah futures was done on the floor until LIFFE told everyone they wanted to do it electronically.

They say it was better on the floor cause you didnt actually need to know anything about the market, you could just trade back and forth with mates and make a bomb. But thats a little bit unfair.

depending on your skill set.

Yeah early starts but we dont start as early as the trading houses.

One of our biggest clients in bishshops gate has its IT staff there from 6 I think, we dont support anything 'properly' until 7am when someone is in the office.
