Ok cool ill join that site this weekend then

I couldn't see any available servers or anything, i typed in my name, typed in my IP addy clicked on search and join but nothing in the boxes to join

I've got really good (kinda) with a 727 now Dave, managed to take off (although how you know where the correct runway you take off from is ill never know?) and also land (in a field) again how do you see the runway from the maps ?

Had my whole family watiching last night, mum and dad loved it, mum said something stupid "does this affect real planes in real life, its very clever

when talking to ATC when taxiing, there should be an option for taxi guidance, and a pink guideline is layed out for you all the way to the runway, also applies for when you land and need to taxi to park/gate

Ahhhh ok !

What about on take off when you are taxing to the certain required runway ??

Also when you have taken off do you get a line or anything to follow so you know your going the right way (to your destination)

Greg do you have the ATC option on?

When they assign you a runway for take off an option called Progressive Taxi (normally option number 3) will apear in the ATC window.

If you press the number assigned to it you will have a pink line appear. Follow this line and it will take you to the correct runway

Cheers

If you want to know what runway you need to land on, ATC will assign a runway number

EG. Runway 24

This is runway bearing 240 degress from north (North being 0 degrees, 90 Degrees East, 180 Degrees South, 270 Degrees West)

Your probably best doing a couple of lessons in the cessna so you know the basics of flying. They are very helpful

I'll let you know on the joystick later, its pretty good with over 12 buttons and thrust

Only thing is when im using the thrust it only moves the throttle half way so i have to do the rest with the mouse, other than that very pleased with it.

I will try and see if i can find that purple guide tonight, started to really annoy me...

I did see a purple guide once on my map when i was flying towards Southend (helped alot)

Try and calibrate your joystick within windows. Should sort the thrust problem out.
