I've not been keeping track of the Portuguese transfers really, so just based it on what I knew last season.

Porto aint the same side they were and didnt even look that good in the qualifying stages, they were really shaky in defence and their midfield is not as strong as when mourinho left most their players from the Champions league winning side were sold

Even though they don't have any CL Experience I think they'll do well. (Obviously not at the expense of Liverpool) they have good players, Joaquin for definite. When Spain played England he tore them to shreds

would it be different say if it was Monaco against Manchester United???
or Man utd vs real madrid (highly unlikey as cant see either of them being in the Uefa cup i know)
Liverpool are the most successful English team in European History dont forget that mate We Have the Champions league Trophy to prove it

CSKA = UEFA Cup Winners 2005
I think its safe to say there 2 pretty decent sides. I mean take Liverpool for example...it takes a decent team to beat Juventus Chelsea and AC Milan en route to winning the CL.
Less of the jealousy

We may or may not win it again this year...BUT we have won it five times now we have a trophy for keeps...Liverpool one of only 3 clubs who can claim this along side Real Madrid and AC Milan.
