Is it possible to have the lens's in the lights either refurbed, or have just the lens;s replaced? mine are full of pits where stones have hit them, but forking out 200 odd quid each for a new pair seems ridiculous just for the sake of the perspex covering?

You would have to grind away at them, that would change the optical qualitys of the perspex and might damage them. Get some headlight protectors. If there are no holes in them there is no point in replacing them anyway.
