Who batted first as I thought it was England but switched ont he telly now and aus are 172-4 but 80something behind but this must mean after England got 470 ao aus batted as they were on 99-5 overnight got ao then england got ao for like 10 and now aus are back in.

Can anyone explain as I've missed the last day and only now what I've readin the paper

What is the follow on as that's the one rule of cricket I've never fully understood or evenb understood slightly just hear them sayign the phrase? Is it to do with aus batting twice in a row if they get less than half of our runs that we got in the first innings then we can choose to to put them in bat again in an attempt to bowl them out for under half so england dont haveanother innings?

They have to get within 200 runs of our total, or we can make them bat again. Which we duely did.
