i have a 1.2 97 corsa..some people say when i leave my orginal 13 inch wheels and get 15 or 16 inch it will be v hard on petrol ,,,bushings,shocks and the list goes on..is this true..please help..

15 and 16's are ok on there get as near to offset et 49 as poss, and don't go mad on width

what width u reckon 195.15 15 okay.....
and you say the car wont be hard to handle...
what about this issue which concerns me.about been hard on bushings etc..remmber im on coutry roads not on motorways...
any advice here very much appreciated

If you do go for significantly bigger wheels it will cause wear and tear to accelerate.
As mentioned bushes, wheel bearings, etc will wear quicker. But if you stick to 15 and 16's it wont be so pro found.

i'm on 195 50 15's no power steering, not knackered a bush yet and the cars like a go-kart, down 60mm on bilstein shocks:

handbrake was stuck there so back looks a little high

did a suspension bush and was so hard to steer it couldnt be moved from where it was parked
